Our school meals are provided for by a local company called Food for Thought Merseyside Ltd. This is a unique 'not for profit' school meals company. Blueberry Park buy into a service with 'Food for Thought' along with several other local schools which allows us to offer our children a varied and well balanced nutritional diet. 'Food for thought' uses organic produce, locally sourced whenever possible, working closely with all it's suppliers to ensure organic, free-range and sustainable food stocks are available to the school. Children have access to a choice of hot meals, homemade soup, fresh sandwiches and wraps, jacket potato with a choice of filling along with access to a fresh salad bar daily. The cost of school meals is £2.00 per day / £10.00 per week, this must be paid daily or at the beginning of each week, (KS2 children only) as all children aged 4 years - 7 years are entitled to universal Free School Meals. Can we please ask all our parents to apply for Income Related Free Schools even if your child is eligible for free school meals under the Universal Free School Meals scheme.
