Welcome to 5EF! We are looking forward to sharing all of the fun things that we get up to this year. We have had a fantastic start to the Spring term!  We are currently working through fractions in Maths. Within Science, we have been looking at Space and the Moon. Our Geography topic this term focuses on Volcanoes and in Art, we are designing our very own dragon's eyes!

Reading 

All children should have a reading record, reading book and reading for pleasure book that they bring to and from school each day. We encourage the children to read independently, with an adult and in groups. Please write a comment in the reading record noting how many pages you have read with your child and a positive comment about their reading. 

PE Days 

Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday. The children should come into school in their school PE kits on these days. PE kit is a white top, blue shorts/joggers and trainers. If the incorrect PE kit is worn, children will be issues with PE kit from lost propety and a note will be sent home regarding this.

Homework

Homework will be given out on a Friday and should be returned to school on or before the following Friday. Homework can either be handed in as a physical copy or uploaded to DOJO.
