Year 4 have made an excellent start to the new term! We have all settled in
nicely. The children have been working so hard, exploring our new topics.
We are so excited to see what the new year holds!
Reading
We encourage children to read as much as they can independently, with an adult and as a class. All children should have a home/school reading book and a Reading for Pleasure book. Reading books will go home every night and are to be returned every morning to school. Please write a comment in the reading record praising how well your child has read. Reading books will be changed once a week.
PE
PE is on Monday and Wednesday. Children should come to school in their PE kits on these days.
Homework
Homework will be handed out on a Friday and returned by the following Friday. Homework will be spellings and times tables. Children also have access to Times Tables Rock Stars. Here they can increase their knowledge and speed of times tables as well as challenging their friends and teachers.
