WELCOME TO BLUEBERRY PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL

Each and every day I feel a great sense of pride in the increasingly diverse community of children, parents and staff, and how we strive to ensure all children make the most of their abilities.

Our children are incredibly happy at school and hugely enjoy learning. Our parents agree that their children feel safe at school, and they also agree that the school understands and responds to their child’s needs.

We are proud of our curriculum which is always evolving to meet the needs of our children. We place great emphasis on developing the whole child through our core values: Ambition, Safety, Perseverance, Inclusivity, Respect and Excellence. It’s wonderful to see the children flourishing and thriving during their time at school: being the best Blueberries they can possibly be!

We have a highly skilled staff team who always put our children first and strive for excellence in everything they do. We have consistently positive attitudes and adopt a solution-focused approach to overcome obstacles and enable all children and adults to achieve their full potential. We encourage children to be confident, independent learners, who understand that achieving success requires effort, practice and perseverance and that making mistakes is an essential part of the learning process.

As a school we are forward thinking and always looking for ways to improve through training, learning from best practice, partnership working and constantly reflecting on what we do as we improve outcomes.

Our focus is on meeting the individual needs of every child to ensure they develop the skills they need to reach their full potential and be ready for secondary school. We encourage parents and carers to be involved in their children’s learning as much as possible, and to work in partnership with us for the benefit of their children.

Visitors often comment on the positive and welcoming atmosphere in the school and particularly how well-behaved, happy, and hard-working our children are. I am immensely proud of what we do here.

I hope our website provides you with the information you are looking for, but if you want to know more, please contact us. Mrs Albiston (School Business Manager) and Mrs McGunnigle (Office Admin) will be happy to help, and if you wish, will arrange a visit to the school.

Paper copies of all the information on our website are available from school, free of charge.

Kind regards
